Ive noticed the bbc are doing patriotic propaganda fake news at the moment with the end of world war 1, the world has been at war every day since world war 1 ended in one place or another for what ever reason, i find countries that say we want peace one day a year followed by 2 minutes silence pathetic, end all wars by getting rid of all armies weapons and fight for peace not war simple really, spend all that money on feeding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Dude’s Got 30 Seconds vintage shirt world and educating people out of poverty instead, but it will never happen because the arms industry won’t let it happen. Sounds like an advert from BBC trying to keep traditional journalism and media agencies like themselves relevant. I’m being slightly facetious there, but the comment in the video about Facebook giving up with putting a red warning triangle next to Fake News because it made people even more interested in the story says it all to me.
People don’t necessarily want The Truth. They want Opinion, Drama, Entertainment and Emotion, not cold, objective facts, I’m afraid. People will connect with Fiction presented as Fact if it stimulates them.
