I would have loved this option when traveling with them when they were little. It relaxes the parents traveling with kids to know, they can select seats close to others traveling with kids. That's when I want to relax and have a quiet and smooth flight as possible. I was on a trans-Atlantic flight with 3 sets of newborn twins within 3 rows of me.

Luckily, I had some pretty awesome noise-canceling headphones and it didn't bother me too much. It was a choir of sadness and anger for the entire 9-hour flight. Drop some coin for good headphones. It's not just the crying. It's kicking which is worse. The arguing parents. The constant going to the lavatory.

Not everyone wants to be around a crying baby, and that’s understandable. Not everyone wants to help. I get it. I flew a lot with my son when he was a baby. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it wasn’t. I remember a full flight we were on, one seat was open next to us, and a person after the person passed us by. A young man finally sat down next to us and we had a great conversation and he was really sweet with my son.

Passengers paid to get on that plane. They are there to travel, catch some rest and enjoy their journey. Not to babysit or pacify fussy babies and toddlers. I agree with this. Honestly, as a mom it gives me anxiety when I can feel the frustration of other people.

The family kept shouting at each other. The faces of all passengers around were sheer frustration. Yes, kids are unpredictable but adult parents can be a lot worst. No concern for anyone else in the plane. I was on a 14hr. flight with 2 babies crying almost every hour as I was trying to sleep. I got a very bad headache during the whole flight as I couldn’t even sleep for a straight hour. I understand and feel bad for their parents cause I know they want to rest and probably embarrassed but I need my sleep too.
