Consider music alone. The different genre’s have different styles of print. But no matter what design you choose to create, balance, proportion, textures, lettering choices have to work together and support the subject matter. I may have posted this before, but one of our best selling shirts was a bee and beehive with “Be my Honey” arched over the art, something I would never have designed, but our artists needed to fill out a sleepwear line and it worked and out sold art we had worked weeks on!
