While I was moving, however, I was reunited with a portion of my wardrobe that had been locked up in storage since July. And while unpacking, I was surprised to discover—well, rediscover—a pair of jeans from Thakoon’s newish direct-to-consumer line with an elastic-back waistband and a desirable and expensive-looking ecru-colored wash. They’re also not too tight or too loose on the waist, and the denim itself is super soft yet somehow still structured. Considering I’ve worn them every day this week, they’ve certainly passed the sitting-slash-working-all-day test.
